Our Commitment to Underserved Students
威廉希尔世界杯at john f. kennedy university, we place great importance on understanding the cultural needs of our entire student population. in october 2015, in recognition of our dedication to our culturally diverse student population, the university received a $2.6 million u.s. department of education title v hispanic serving institution grant.
this five-year grant has allowed the university to expand its efforts in supporting its hispanic/latina-o and underserved students and build an undergraduate success center dedicated to helping these students succeed in reaching their academic goals.

Undergraduate Success Center
威廉希尔世界杯we are committed to ensuring our underserved students meet with success in their educational pursuits. from academic support to financial aid assistance to career advising, we offer a range of services geared toward assisting students in overcoming whatever obstacles may present themselves along the way. additionally, our bilingual staff and programming related to the hispanic/latina-o community fosters cultural understanding and inclusivity among our diverse student body.
The Writing Center
威廉希尔世界杯the online writing center provides tutoring assistance via the internet or telephone to students taking online or on-site classes. the online writing center is available seven days a week (with the exception of university holidays) and offers 40-minute synchronous online sessions using zoom web conferencing software, email, telephone, or a combination of these tools.
Student Concierge Services
The Student Concierge offers a centralized, one‐stop‐shop for student services. The Student Concierge Department is available to answer all of your questions related to:
- financial aid
- academic advising
- planning course schedules
- course registration
- academic requirements and graduation
- connecting with other university resources
Both in-person and remote assistance are available.
The Math Center
威廉希尔世界杯in the math center, our mission is to help students build confidence as they develop quantitative reasoning skills through interactive, collaborative, and individualized online or on-ground sessions. our goal is to help students become more effective, confident, life-long learners through critical thinking, self-observation, and application of sound quantitative principles and strategies.
The John F. Kennedy University Libraries
the libraries are located at the pleasant hill and san jose campuses. the collections of the university’s libraries number more than 100,000 volumes, 1,000 print and 49,000 electronic journals, 87,000 e-books, and 80 online databases. the libraries collect materials in print, audio, video, and electronic formats and media viewing/listening stations are available at each campus.
